Specialties
Therapy for high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed beneath the surface.
You may be successful on paper, thoughtful, self-aware, and capable — while still feeling anxious, disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns you cannot seem to shift on your own.
I work with young adults, college students, millennials, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, burnout, relationship patterns, life transitions, and nervous system dysregulation.
Virtual therapy only | Licensed in NY & NJ | EMDR, ERP, CBT & nervous system-informed care
You can be self-aware and still feel stuck.
Many of the people I work with are highly self-aware, emotionally intelligent, insightful, and thoughtful, yet still find themselves feeling stuck in painful patterns they cannot seem to move beyond on their own. They may understand why they feel the way they do, but feel unsure of what to do next with that insight.
Therapy can be a space to slow down, look inward, understand long-standing emotional patterns, process unresolved experiences, strengthen self-trust, and create meaningful change.

Deep-Dive into each Specialty
-
High-functioning anxiety can look like achievement, responsibility, planning, and composure from the outside. Internally, it may feel like racing thoughts, tension, self-doubt, overthinking, perfectionism, and the sense that you are always bracing for what could go wrong.
Therapy can help you better understand the patterns beneath the anxiety, strengthen self-trust, and create more space between your nervous system and the pressure to constantly perform.
-
Trauma can live in the body, relationships, self-beliefs, and emotional responses long after the original experience has passed. You may feel guarded, overwhelmed, disconnected, reactive, numb, or stuck in survival mode.
Therapy can help you process painful experiences, understand your nervous system responses, and move toward more safety, clarity, and connection.
-
OCD can involve intrusive thoughts, excessive doubt, mental reviewing, reassurance seeking, checking, perfectionism, and a constant need for certainty or control. Many people with OCD feel trapped in exhausting cycles of anxiety, overthinking, temporary relief, and renewed fear.
ERP helps clients gradually face feared thoughts, situations, sensations, or uncertainties while reducing compulsive behaviors and safety behaviors that keep the cycle going.
-
EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, OCD, panic, self-doubt, perfectionism, chronic stress, relationship wounds, and feeling emotionally stuck despite insight and self-awareness. EMDR helps access and process experiences in a way that goes beyond insight alone.
-
Perfectionism can become a way of trying to stay safe, avoid criticism, maintain control, or feel worthy. Over time, the pressure to keep up can leave you anxious, irritable, disconnected, resentful, or deeply exhausted.
Therapy can help you understand the emotional roots of perfectionism, soften self-criticism, build more flexible standards, and reconnect with your needs.
-
Even positive change can feel destabilizing. College, career shifts, relationship changes, moves, identity exploration, loss, or new life stages can bring up anxiety, grief, uncertainty, and old patterns.
Therapy can help you process what is changing, clarify what matters, and feel more grounded as you move through a new chapter.
-
Relationship patterns often reveal old protective strategies: people-pleasing, shutting down, overexplaining, avoiding conflict, choosing unavailable people, or questioning your own needs.
Therapy can help you understand these patterns with compassion, strengthen boundaries, and build more secure connection with yourself and others.
-
Nervous system dysregulation can show up as anxiety, shutdown, irritability, emotional flooding, numbness, restlessness, or difficulty feeling settled. Therapy can help you understand these responses, build regulation skills, and approach deeper healing at a pace that feels supportive.
Queer-informed, affirming therapy.

This work is approached with care, respect, curiosity, and an understanding that identity, lived experience, and emotional well-being are deeply connected.
